Placing an order
1. Placing an order
When you're done shopping, click "Checkout" to place your order. All of the items in your shopping bag appear in your order during checkout. If you don't want to order all of the items, simply edit your shopping bag. During checkout, you will be asked to provide:
- Your e-mail address and password, for security purposes.
- The address you want to ship to
- Your preferred shipping method
- Any gift options (for information about our gift-packaging options)
- Your credit card type, number and expiration date
- Any promotional codes you have received
You will have a chance to verify the information in checkout and if no changes are necessary proceed to "Place Order". You will also receive an e-mail confirming that your order has been received within approximately 24 hours. We will send you another e-mail to notify you when your order has been shipped and that we've charged your credit card.

2. Promo Codes and How To Use Them
Occasionally when you receive a special offer for purchases from us, you will also receive a promotional code to use. This code lets us know that the special offer should be applied to your order.
Using the code is easy:
•Just shop and check out as you normally would.
•When you get to checkout, enter your promotional code in the space provided.
•Once you have entered the promotional code and clicked "Apply" you will see a message confirming that the promotional code has been applied to your order.
•If there is any problem with the promotional code you've entered, an error message will let you know how to correct the problem before you can continue to check out. In some cases you can enter more than one promotional code for an order.
•Enter the first promotional code, and click "Apply".
•Next enter the second promotional code and click "Apply".
•Complete your checkout process.
•Not all promotions can be combined. If you enter promotional codes that cannot be combined, we will apply the one that has the biggest benefit to you, and you can apply the unused promotional code to a different order.
3. When You are Charged
Generally, credit cards are not charged until we ship the item(s) to you. However, when you pay for your order using a credit card that is associated with a checking account, we may pre-authorize your order amount with your credit or debit card issuer at the time you place the order, which may have an effect on your account balance. If you pay for your order with a gift card, we will charge your gift card as soon as you place your order. In this case, if you choose to cancel an item that is "on order", we will send you a new gift card to cover the cost of the item, plus any applicable taxes and promotions.
Prices and Taxes
1. Price Adjustments
We offer a one-time price adjustment if an item is marked down within fourteen (14) days of the date on your purchase. To obtain a price adjustment on an online purchase, you must call 213-744-0077 or send us an email message at custservices@urban1972.com within the fourteen (14) day window. Include your order number in your email message. If you are within the deadline, we'll refund you the difference in your original form of payment.

Items purchased with a promotional discount are not eligible for price adjustments. See promotion for details. However, items purchased with rewards certificates or free shipping promotions are eligible for price adjustments. .

We will not make price adjustments on online purchases for items featured in clearance pricing events. Sorry, there are no returns or exchanges on final sale merchandise.
2. Tax Policy
We charge tax based on California state tax laws for California order. Currently tax rates is 9.75% from the subtotal amount. It is based on delivery address of your order. If you return an item for a refund, you will also receive a refund for the taxes you paid for that item. You will not receive a refund shipping and handling of that item, as the shipping and handling charges are nonrefundable once an item has been shipped.

Please note that on-screen order totals reflect estimated tax. The actual charge to your credit card will reflect all applicable taxes calculated at the time your order is shipped. If you have questions about the taxes on your invoice, please call us anytime at 213-744-0077
